Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief
The Knights of Columbus are collecting items for the Eastern Kentucky Flood victims. The needs of this collection may change over time, however, this is what is needed most at this stage in the clean up efforts. Tables for donations are set up in the Gathering Space.
Current items the Knights of Columbus are collecting:
• Cleaning Supplies: Mops, buckets (the need MORE buckents), bleach, soap, towels, brooms.
• Flat Shovels (not spades) mud movers
• Shop Vacs & dehumidifiers
• Water in large volumes (1 Gal) units. NOT for drinking, but for cleaning & cooking.
• Trash bags – preferred to receive in small quantity boxes (Relief distribution folks are advising they want to hand 1 box of bags and not to have to parsel out 10 per person from a roll of 100)
Monetary donations are acceptable as well. Please make checks payable to Pax Christi Catholic Church with “Eastern KY Flood Relief” in the memo. DO NOT leave checks on the donation table; place in the offertory basket.
