We invite all children who are in pre-k through 5th grades to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt on the parish lawn on Easter Sunday at 9:45 a.m. (If it rains it will be in the Parish Hall).
Donations of plastic eggs & small sized wrapped candy (for filling them) are greatly appreciated and can be dropped off in the basket in the Gathering Area.
Eggs, in general, were a traditional symbol of fertility and rebirth in Christianity. For the celebration of Eastertide, Easter eggs symbolize the empty tomb of Jesus, from which Jesus was resurrected.
