Christmas Giving Tree Party in Monticello December 14
Since 1994, Pax Christi has joined with St. Peter’s Catholic Church (Monticello) in providing a Christmas Party and presents (a toy and clothing) for 125+ children in
Monticello/Wayne County, which is one of the most impoverished counties in Kentucky.
Volunteers are needed before and after each Mass (in November and December) to assist with card sign out and re-stocking the trees with cards.
Volunteers will be needed after the 11 a.m. Masses to help sort and inventory the gifts.
Saturday, December 14 at 8 a.m.—Load the truck, set up at Monticello and distribute gifts!
Youth and their families are invited, and encouraged, to help with the party and other volunteer opportunities! (A special & fun-filled way for youth to earn service hours).
