As the Christmas season is coming to a close we can turn our attention to having our prayer vigils for peace.
After Sunday Masses – Once again we will go down to our cross facing Man O’ War for a short period of prayer. For those who are willing, we will go in cold or in snow. If it is raining we will stay in church. For those who are unable to deal with the winter conditions, we will provide copies of the prayer so that you can pray together in chapel. However, I think the witness of being seen in unfriendly weather conditions can be important.
The first dates are:
January 25 after the 8:30 Mass
February 1 after the 11 a.m. Mass
February 8 after the 11 a.m. Mass
February 15 after the 8:30 Mass
February 22 after the 11 a.m. Mass
Monday Evenings – We will resume our Monday evening prayer vigils beginning on January 19 at 5:30. This will be able to lead into the new “Chosen” study series that begins at 6:00 on January 26.
