On November 10th Pax Christi will host a parish healing and deliverance service with the assistance of Lexington Encounter Ministry of Healing School and Alumni. Main speaker is Laura Shoulders, Director of the Lexington Encounter Ministry of Healing School. Deacon Ed Parsons will be the Master of Ceremony and parish coordinator for this Healing Service.
We are taking the lead to provide a Healing and Deliverance Service during the day for those people having difficulty attending in the evening due to driving issues and small children.
A healing and deliverance service is more than praying for physical healings; We also focus on prayers for mental issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, forgiveness, anger, hopelessness, unworthiness and more. Some are associated with various illnesses, but many are caused by our social environment.
There is no age restriction for needing and receiving Jesus’ healing. We just need to faithfully ask to receive. Prayer team members are trained to assist individuals in receiving this healing Jesus wants to provide. Sometimes it happens during the healing service or shortly afterward, but more often it takes time, maybe additional healing or deliverance counseling or referral to a priest or medical professional for healing to occur. Jesus always wants you healed but He is the only one who knows the path to your personal healing.
Jesus knows us better than we do, so we must have faith and trust in Him. Come and see what Jesus will do for you
