Eucharistic Minister
There is great joy and satisfaction to participate in this wonderful gift to God's people. Jesus comes to us as the one who gives himself to us. He loves us so much that he gives us a share in his loving self-giving.
Extraordinary Ministers Needed
Do you love the Mass? Do you feel truly, spiritually fed by the Eucharist?
Do you love sharing the Mass with many different people?
Training— March 12 at 10 a.m.—Pax Christi Parish Hall
This is more than just a training session for current and new ministers. We will recognize those ministers who are currently serving and have served during the pandemic restriction period. We will begin with a gathering in the Parish Hall with light snacks and beverages. We will then have training and wrap up in the sanctuary for a practicum; an opportunity for veterans to assist new ministers in the process of serving at Mass.
* Requirement to serve: Baptized & Confirmed Catholics at least 16 years of age, and in good standing with the Church. It is an easy and especially rewarding ministry.
* Extraordinary Ministers usually serve 1-2 times a month at their preferred Mass. A schedule is prepared typically at three month intervals so the Extraordinary Ministers know when they serve; we schedule around vacations and other commitments.
We hope to see many of you at the training on March 12 at 10 a.m. If you would like more information about the duties of this ministry, please contact Deacon Ed Parsons at (502) 382-0145 or tparsons@cdlex.org.
