CATHOLIC ACTION CENTER
APRIL 29th-30th
The new Catholic Action Center, will provide day and evening shelter, meals, laundry facilities, a free clothing store, and more. It will operate 24 hours a day 7 days a week at 1055 Industry Road. The opening for the people served at the center is still tentative. Funding is always a need for the center to maintain the level of care needed in Lexington. Please be generous.

Founded in June, 2000, in Lexington, Ky., the Catholic Action Center is based on the Catholic Worker Movement, began by Dorothy Day. The center is a house of hospitality that welcomes all who are in need. It is a faith based outreach of volunteers who strive to provide all guests a welcoming place to receive their basic needs with dignity.  The mission of the center is to “fill in the gap” of services for our brothers and sisters in need with no government funding by providing an opportunity for people of faith to connect with and serve the marginalized of our community.
