Mary, Our Lady of Help for Persecuted Christians

On Wednesday, July 10 at the 6:30 p.m. Mass, join us as we pray for our brothers and sisters of faith who are at risk around the world through a special Marian Devotion sponsored by The Knights of Columbus.  A new Marian icon, Our Lady of Help for Persecuted Christians, is being brought on pilgrimage through Kentucky and the Pax Christi Knights of Columbus will host this beautiful image as a centerpiece for a prayer service.

A light reception will be held afterwards.  All are invited.

Good Luck Fr. Larry

From the Men’s Group

On Friday, May 10, 2019 the Pax Christi Men’s Group hosted its 19th annual golf scramble.  In recognition of John Mattingly’s sometime herculean efforts to make the golf scramble a success over the last 19 years, his name was added to the scramble's title.  Henceforth this will be the John Mattingly Golf Scramble!

This year’s scramble was a resounding success, raising over $5,000.  These funds will support Pax Christi Catholic Church’s efforts as well as those of many local charities whose missions align with Pax Christi’s.  The success is a result of the personal efforts of many of the members of the Men’s Group as well as the financial support received from twenty five (25) hole sponsors, ten (10) cart sponsors, six (6) scramble awards prizes, thirty three (33) door prizes and three (3) individual cash donors.

Please see the insert included with this week’s bulletin for a list of our sponsors.

Please support these sponsors when you can to thank them for their support.

Keep the insert handy during the year to refer to when looking for help in the areas they do business.
